A complete denture is the best option if you have lost a large number of your teeth or had them removed, and they are classed as ‘conventional’ or ‘immediate’ dentures. A conventional denture is ready for placement in the mouth about 8 to 12 weeks after the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has begun to heal. Immediate dentures,on the other hand, are made in advance and positioned as soon as the teeth are removed. However, during the healing process the bones and gums will shrink back to the dentures and need adjusting during the this time. For this reason, immediate dentures are usually only considered a temporary solution until conventional dentures are made.

Both conventional and immediate dentures are finely crafted and advancements in technology mean they can be hand-painted to look completely and natural match any existing teeth.
